About mixpix
So it begins…….for nearly six years I have been writing a book. I hoped by now it would be finished…published….given an award…an acknowledgment….a glance! Writing books take a very long time. You have to sit down, hope that your creative muse is in the same area code, and ignore anything that is going on around you. In my case, this entails having a meaningful conversation with the dog….who is fed, dry, warm and just about tucked in for the night (after four trips out back in the snow!) He realizes I’m about to start something and it’s not about him. This is purely speculation on my part or simply delusion….but no matter, he can be the muse and sit on my lap as long as he wants. We’re both happy.
I am Micki Auerbach Wechsler..i know it’s a long name. I could use my initials …..hi, call me MAW, not Maaawwwww, not More, ….not good choices! I wanted to combine my name with something that would clearly define my persona on multiple levels. A number of options that I came up with were already taken, somewhat inappropriate or simply too long to write. Something to consider for possible autograph sessions!!! This was becoming a frustrating task and leading me to the brink of desperation (never a good sign.) How hard was it to come up with an identity that fit me perfectly and fit on my license plate? After removing myself from the task at hand, (that sounds so academic), utilizing deep breathing techniques and nearly choking to death, I found my answer. It was so simple, so easy and so perfect.
